When you’re tired of plucking or waxing and say fuck it and shave it. ——————————————————————————
I remember waxing/bleaching and tweezing what women like to call the “upper lip” hair. Let’s just be real it’s a girlstache. We are trained by society to get rid of it at an early age. Men usually comment things like why are you obsessed with hair? Why do you draw it ? My answer is no, it’s not an obsession it’s something that every women has and it’s part of our daily lives like eating and we either get rid of it consistently or we don’t but either way it’s normal. You never see it in magazines or on tv. With my illustrations I try to normalize it and show that we all have hair and if a women decides to leave it or get rid of it that’s her choice and it’s completely normal. 😘 Happy Wednesday!

We talked about robots and how he is very concerned and certain that they will take over the planet. We talked about how there are so many people that believe the world is flat among other topics until we fell asleep into dreamland. Except it wasn’t dreamland for me, it was nightmareland since WestWorld season 2 was so damn violent. 🔪😟

Drawing 39/100 of the drawing a day for 100 days challenge. When he tells me the vacuum doesn’t work, I know exactly how to fix it. Pass me the scissors!/ This is inspired by our weekly home cleans. We currently have a @dirtdevil that constantly gets stuck with hair. I have to cut hair off of it about three times every time I clean 😩 So we are getting a new vacuum. What do you guys recommend?? @hoover / @dyson / @kenmoreappliances / @irobot ? / So many to choose from! My mom swears by her Dyson and my good friend loves his Roomba so I think it’s between those two but I just can’t see the Roomba being able to handle all of the hair. If we find one we love I’ll write up a blog for those also in the market for a vacuum. ————————————————————————

I was trying to flip the heavy quesadilla and everything spilled and I was hangry and in that moment I wanted to give up on life and then I thought, this will be a great illustration. This is inspired by the feeling I get eating cinnamon swirl raisin bread. I grew up eating this thanks to my grandma and every time I eat it it makes me so happy. It’s like tasting a slice of my childhood. What food reminds you of your childhood??

This piece is inspired by a recent conversation I had with someone about breakups. The thought that you share your life with someone and then many times after a breakup they disappear from your life and are erased in a way. // If the ties are cut and one person doesn’t want to be in a relationship anymore or one has betrayed the other in a way that it has tainted the relationship- a breakup is best. After all, being in a relationship should always bring you more happiness than sadness. Your partner should lift you up, not bring you down. And if you are lucky enough to find that person that is complete magic, I hope you show them how thankful you are every single day because there’s only one of them on this planet. Don’t forget that.
