How to Host the Perfect Bachelorette in Vegas

Hi! So I'm guessing you're in the process of planning a bachelorette. I just got back from an AMAZING bachelorette weekend I hosted for my best friend and 5 girlfriends in Vegas and I'm here to share all of the details to save you time and to document the weekend.

First thing is first, the hotel. I was planning the bachelorette of my very best friend who I have been friends with since we were 10 years old. I wanted to make sure she felt like a princess and that she had a VIP experience the whole weekend. So I started doing research on the best and most luxurious hotels in Vegas. There was one that consistently stayed at the top of all of the "Best Hotels in Vegas Lists" That was the Venetian. I stayed at the Palazzo (the sister hotel) in 2015 and I really felt like a princess in it. So I started to do research about the Venetian and found that every room is a suite. Each suite features an all-Italian-marble bath, sunken living room with sofa, armchairs and a beautiful vanity. The inside of the hotel looks like a palace and USA Today calls it "The most romantic hotel in Vegas." I booked two Bella Suites and made sure they were connecting. When booking the hotel I recommend going to their website and on the top right click on the little present icon that says "Offers" to see what deal they have going on.

Now that the hotel was booked I needed to plan our stay. We agreed upon a three day stay Friday- Sunday. One thing I do remember from the last time I went to Vegas was that I had to walk ALOT. These hotels are huge and getting from one part of the hotel to the other was going to come with a lot of walking which I don't mind at all as long as I'm not in heels. Last time I came to Vegas walking from my hotel room to explore the hotel and to go to different restaurants destroyed the bottom of my feet in heels. I got blisters on the bottom of both feet and it ruined my time there. So a little insider tip is wear comfortable shoes or try to stay in your hotel to save you traffic headaches and foot blisters. With that in mind I planned most of the weekend in the Venetian.

Day 1

We flew into Vegas and went straight to the room to shower and take a quick nap to prepare us for the night. We made reservations at The Dorsey to start off the night catching up over a big punch bowl that was served in a disco ball inspired bowl. We ordered the GREEN STREET Bowl that came with Vodka, lime, cucumber, green apple, mint & fizzBelow it was really yummy and fun to spin. Below I attached a photo of The Dorsey and the punch bowl taken from The Venetian's website and then a photo taken from that night with the bride-to-be Stephanie.

Now we were off to dinner. We made dinner reservations at STK in the Cosmopolitan hotel. The traffic to go such a short distance was crazy. We ended up a little bit late because of traffic so they gave our table we had reserved away. The girls were raving about their filets but the side items were not the best. The mashed potato needed a bit more flavor and their truffle fries made the bottom of the list on my list of favorite truffle fries. All in all I wish we had booked a dinner reservation at our hotel since the Venetian has amazing restaurants and celebrity chefs and traffic would have been avoided. Next Time!

After dinner we rushed over back to The Venetian to party at the TAO Nightclub where we had a table reserved.

We decided on TAO during the planning period after reading this about the club online:

The 10,000-square-foot TAO Nightclub is the place to see and be seen, attracting world class DJs and celebrities such as Madonna, Jay-Z, Usher, Drake, Rihanna, Heidi Klum, Kim Kardashian, Jamie Foxx, and Bono. The voyeuristic design includes three full-service bars, two main rooms playing a variety of hip hop, electronic dance music, and top 40 with state-of-the-art audio and lighting systems, private skyboxes, and a 40-foot outside terrace overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. Throughout the venue, guests can catch a glimpse of the infamous bathtub models immersed in rose petal baths, and for those looking to catch a brief reprieve from the dance floor, the TAO Lounge and TAO Beach offer sexy alternatives.

The service was great. When our feet hurt someone that worked at the club brought us all flip flops to relieve our feet. One of my favorite parts of the night was when one of the girls got someone working there to get the screen in the club to say 'Steph & Chris are Trying The Knot!' We were all surprised and it was really nice seeing how happy it made her.

Day 2

We started the day at the 'TAO Beach Takeover Saturdays' pool party event. Ladies are free after 2pm if you reserve ahead of time online here.  I want to note that they have metal detectors you have to go through before you walk in. Your bags will be searched, try not to bring too many things so that you don't have to worry about your things once you are having a good time. I bought a waterproof phone case on amazon that also held my ID and debit card that I hung around my neck. You can purchase the water proof case here. I highly recommend it! Best 8 dollars spent, and it came with two so I gave the other one away. The pool party was a lot of fun. The bride wore a custom 'Bride' bathing suit while we wore custom 'Squad' suits. The bathing suits fit really well. We got them here

After the fun pool party we headed to the room to shower and take another quick nap before going to see a musical at the Palazzo. We decided on BAZ- A Musical Tour De Force.

Set in a modern and intimate cabaret, BAZ is a celebration, a mash-up of music, and moments from the greatest love stories imagined by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award-nominated director Baz Luhrmann. Theatergoers follow the romances from Luhrmann’s iconic films: Romeo + Juliet, Moulin Rouge, and The Great Gatsby as the lovers discover whether fortune is in their favor.

The show was AMAZING! I was hooked the whole time. The overall performance was beautiful and heart-wrenching, it brought me to tears. I wished I had more time in Vegas to watch more performances.

That night we had pizza from the Pizzeria Da Enzo in the Venetian and it hit the spot. It was so yummy I ended up eating a cold piece the next day that was left in the box.

Day 3

We wanted to end the last day of the trip in a relaxing way so we reserved a cabana at The Aquatic Club booked for the day. The Aquatic Club is a more couture, boutique experience. The female DJ at this pool was THE BEST of the whole weekend. I had to go up to her and ask for her name: DJ Jenna Palmer. I had so much there, it was one of my favorite if not my favorite part of the trip. The pool wasn't crowded, the music was great, the drinks and food hit the spot. It was just perfect. The rest of the girls are big sushi fans so we ordered their sushi platter and they absolutely loved it. They said it was really fresh and it was gone so quickly I didn't even get to take a photo of it but I did take a screen shot of a boomerang I posted on Instagram that day. We also ordered three pitchers of drinks, chicken wings, french fries, and a club sandwich with chips. The bride napkins I purchased on Amazon and brought to Vegas.

If it wasn't because I had to get ready to leave and catch my flight I think I would have wanted to stay at the Aquatic club until dinner it was such a great time.

This past weekend was such a beautiful girls getaway. I hope this helps you plan your Vegas getaway. If you have any questions please feel free to comment below.

XOXO
