Illustrating on the Samsung Galaxy Book
Hey friends! :)
I've been getting asked since forever to post a video of me illustrating digitally. So I finally made a time lapse of me using the Samsung Galaxy book. Here's the link to check out the device: http://www.samsung.com/us/business/products/mobile/2-in-1s/galaxy-book/ I used the Auto Desk Sketch book app which I really enjoy. If you want to know more about that app check it out here: https://www.sketchbook.com/?locale=en
Special thanks to Intel for sending me this device to create on!
A little bit more about the Galaxy Book and some of my favorite features.
- It is equipped with 8GB RAM, a 256GB solid-state drive, two USB-C ports for connecting all your devices, and the 7th Gen Intel® Core™ i5 Processor.
- You can switch from touch to type with a keyboard that connects on contact. The precise, pressure-responsive S Pen creates and navigates with ease. Both are included with your Galaxy Book and never need charging. ( I also have an Ipad with an apple pen and one thing I like about this vs the Ipad is that I don't have to ever charge the pen!)
- It powers through up to 11 hours of video playback on a single charge. Then get back up to a full charge with less than three hours of Adaptive Fast Charging.
If you have any questions about this device feel free to ask. This is a great device for any artist especially beginners because you can draw directly onto the tablet. I learned to draw digitally back in college using Photoshop and a Wacom tablet and that definitely takes more time to pick up since you draw on a tablet but are looking at your computer screen. I'll show you what I mean in a future blog post for those wanting to learn how to illustrate digitally that way.
I hope you enjoyed watching the video as much as I enjoyed making it!
